Reinventing Democracy:
New Models for Our Changing World

Members of The Common Good have a special opportunity to attend the Athens Democracy Forum, a pivotal conference addressing the impact of the current feeble state of democracy on our world and on businesses alike.

Once you have RSVP'd, we will send you to portal to complete your registration and payment. Limited space available - RSVP now!

With emerging democracies backsliding into authoritarianism and others falling prey to populism, there has never been a more urgent need to assess the evolving state of democracy and its impact now, amid rapid global change. The 2019 Athens Democracy Forum will be held October 9-11 in Athens. The Forum brings senior New York Times journalists together with international business leaders, policy makers, academics and experts to discuss the state of democracy and what action it requires in the face of mounting challenges.

The Athens Democracy Forum is attended by over 400 international delegates from more than 30 countries. Delegates will enjoy a rich program of cultural events and networking opportunities, including a welcome reception at the Acropolis Museum, cultural tours, an interactive discussion with senior New York Times journalists, a dinner hosted by the Mayor of Athens, and immersive deep-dive discussions to find solutions to four of the 17 United Nations Global Goals.

The agenda now includes a debate between Bernard-Henri Lévy (TCG Past Speaker, Philosopher, Filmmaker and Activist) and Stephen Bannon (Former White House Chief Strategist, United States), as well as discussions with Presidents and Prime Ministers from around the world, Nobel lLaureates, human rights activists in Hong Kong and the Middle East, and more. For the present agenda, click here.
